Terms of service

These terms cover your use of krutikraut.com and any design or development work you hire me (Krutik Raut, “I” or “me”) to do. If you book a call, pay an invoice or start a subscription, you agree to them.

If we sign a separate proposal or contract for your project, that document wins wherever it says something different from this page.

Every project starts with a written scope listing the deliverables, timeline and price.

• Payment: 50% upfront to book the work and 50% before launch or final handover.
• Revisions: two rounds are included. You can buy more rounds as an add-on.
• Scope changes: anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before I start it. Prices marked with a + can increase once the full scope is known.
• Timelines: timelines are estimates. They depend on you sending content, feedback and approvals on time. If a project waits on you for more than 30 days, I may pause it and reschedule it around other work.
• Rush delivery: moving a project ahead of the queue costs 30% on top of the project price.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can send unlimited requests. I work on as many at once as your plan allows (1 on Standard, 2 on Pro) and take the rest in the order you choose.
• “Unlimited” means unlimited requests in the queue, not unlimited output in a single day. Large requests are broken into smaller pieces and delivered as they're done.
• You can pause at any time. Unused days in the current billing period carry over until you resume.
• You can cancel at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• A trial, when one is offered, gives you a short look at how we work. It is not a discounted way to finish a full project.

Invoices are due within 7 days unless they say otherwise. Prices are shown in INR for clients in India and USD for everyone else. Unless a price says otherwise, it is the full amount you pay.

The upfront deposit reserves time in my schedule. It is non-refundable once work has started. If a project is cancelled partway through, you pay for the work completed up to that point, and you receive that work.

I don't refund subscription payments for a period that has already started. Cancelling stops the next charge. If something has gone wrong, email me and we'll work it out.

I may pause work on overdue invoices until they are paid.

Once you have paid in full, you own the final deliverables made for you: logos, brand assets, designs and website code. Until then, they stay mine.

• Unused concepts and drafts stay with me unless we agree otherwise.
• Fonts, stock images, plugins, templates and other third-party assets keep their own licences. I'll tell you if any of them need a paid licence in your name.
• General tools, code snippets and know-how I bring to the project, and reuse across projects, stay mine. You get a permanent licence to use them as part of your project.
• I may show the finished work in my portfolio and on social media after launch. If your project needs to stay confidential, tell me before we start.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you send me, including text, images, logos and data, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. You remain the owner of your content. I use it only to do your project.

Products in the shop are sold and delivered through third-party platforms such as Framer, Contra and Dodo Payments. Those platforms handle checkout, payment and delivery, and their terms apply to your purchase.

• Unless the product page says otherwise, a purchase gives you a licence to use the product for your own projects or your clients' projects.
• You may not resell, redistribute or share the product itself, as it is or with changes, as a template, kit or competing product.
• Because digital products can be copied instantly, purchases are non-refundable unless the platform's policy says otherwise or the product doesn't work as described.
• Free products and tools are provided as they are.

I do careful, professional work, and I fix bugs in my own work that you report within 30 days of launch at no cost. After that, fixes and updates are covered by a Care Plan or billed separately.

I can't guarantee business results such as traffic, rankings or sales. I'm also not responsible for problems caused by third-party services (hosting, Shopify, Framer, payment providers and so on) or by changes someone else makes after handover.

As far as the law allows, my total liability for any claim connected to a project is limited to the amount you paid me for that project, or for subscriptions, the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. Neither of us is liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

The work, writing and code shown on this site belong to me or to the clients and brands credited. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission. Links to other sites are there for convenience, and I'm not responsible for what those sites contain.

Please don't misuse the site, its contact form or its APIs, for example by sending spam or automated requests.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we disagree about something, we'll try to settle it by talking first. If that doesn't work, the courts of India have jurisdiction.

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes don't affect projects already underway unless we both agree.
